Taylor Swift & me backstage at JPJ 3/20/10. Taylor was standing on a box. :)
I'm the new kid here. I've been in radio for 23 years and worked in 5 states. My original career path was accounting (my major in college) but I loved playing music and really wanted to pursue a career as a professional singer/musician. Unfortunately, my singing, while at least on key, is not very good, nor are my guitar and keyboard skills, so being able to share music recorded by some of the most talented people in the world seemed like the next logical move.
I still love to play guitar (when nobody is listening), love the beach, and love to take long walks with my dachshund, Marvin on nice days. I also enjoy TV, movies, and heated political debates.
I enjoy meeting country artists, and, yes, I've dated a few of them, but I won't say which ones. I've never been married, but came close once or twice. Right now, Marvin is the man in my life:
That's Marvin, by the way.

Happy Anniversary!
You've been married how long?! Let Your Country 99.7 WCYK know when your anniversary is by calling (975-9970) or e-mailing Lisa. Then each weekday at 3:20 Lisa will read the anniversary list and name that day's winner. Winner wins agift certificate to the Charlottesville Flowerman.
